Soil Water Content Regression Analysis of Measurement Data from Hyperspectral Camera in Weathered Granite Soils

چکیده

Soil water content is one of the most common physical parameters that cause landslides or debris flow. Therefore, it very importance to determine predict quickly and non-destructively. This study investigates hyperspectral information in visible near-infrared regions (VNIR) different samples granite soils possessing varying content. Totally 162 were taken from each mountain area. The with contents examined using a radiometer operating 400~1000nm range by obtaining spectral curves. It was found variation VNIR consistent weathered soils, camera able detect it. A Partial Least Squares Regression (PLSR) analysis applied develop calibration-model. PLSR model resulted good correlation between profile. results demonstrate combined can be useful non-destructive tool for determining soil soils.

Retrieval of Soil Water Content in Saline Soils from Emitted Thermal Infrared Spectra Using Partial Linear Squares Regression

Timely information of soil water content is urgently required for monitoring ecosystem processes and functions at various scales. Although remote sensing has already provided many practical applications of retrieving soil moisture, it is largely limited to visible/near infrared or microwave domains and few studies have ever been conducted on the thermal infrared. In addition, soil salinization ...

Prediction of Soil Moisture Content and Soil Salt Concentration from Hyperspectral Laboratory and Field Data

This research examines the simultaneous retrieval of surface soil moisture and salt concentrations using hyperspectral reflectance data in an arid environment. We conducted laboratory and outdoor field experiments in which we examined three key soil variables: soil moisture, salt and texture (silty loam, clay and silty clay). The soil moisture content models for multiple textures (M_SMC models)...

Bread Water Content Measurement Based on Hyperspectral Imaging

Water content is one of the most important properties of the bread for tasting assesment or store monitoring. Traditional bread water content measurement methods mostly are processed manually, which is destructive and time consuming. This paper proposes an automated water content measurement for bread quality based on near-infrared hyperspectral imaging against the conventional manual loss-in-w...

Some Geotechnical Properties of Palm Biodiesel Contaminated Mining Sand and Weathered Granite Soil

Oil-pollution due to accidental during transportation or leakage from storage not only brings large damage to the environments, but it also affects the geotechnical properties of soil. Hence, an extensive laboratory testing program was carried out to investigate the geotechnical properties on palm biodiesel contaminated weathered granite soil and mining sand. A series of laboratory experiments ...

Spatial prediction of soil electrical conductivity using soil axillary data, soft data derived from general linear model and error measurement

Indirect measurement of soil electrical conductivity (EC) has become a major data source in spatial/temporal monitoring of soil salinity. However, in many cases, the weak correlation between direct and indirect measurement of EC has reduced the accuracy and performance of the predicted maps. The objective of this research was to estimate soil EC based on a general linear model via using se...
